Who We Are

The establishment of Vanscope Company Limited was based on the philosophy that shelter is one of mankind’s basic needs, the place that protects people’s lives, keeps inhabitants warm and safe, and encourages satisfying other needs as well.

 

According to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory, shelter is one of the main requirements addressing individual psychological needs, motivating people to move to their next level. Real estate development is a relevant component for national development.

 

However, there is a housing deficit of about 3.5 million as at 2016 (Dr. G. Yeboah’, 2017, Article on Ghana’s housing unit deficit: Myth or Reality).

 

This finding gives credence to the fact that a huge gap exist in the supply of housing facilities in the country. The housing problem compounds with the high demand created by the increasing population growth rate of 2.17 % at 2017, and the entire population of Ghana standing at 29,429,189 in 2018. However, the age distribution of people having the purchasing power to rent or purchase estate is comprised of 47% younger people (15-24years) and 43.3% (25-64 years) constituting the working class.

Deliver qualitative sound and affordable construction, property management services that meet accepted standards (ISO, ASHTOO, Ghana Builders Code, etc.), and deliver reliable investment service that create financial well-being for Ghanaians.

In Yeboah’s opinion, according to this survey, there is lack of secure tenure, covering the homeless, households with insecure tenures and unaffordable accommodations. Also, he claimes that there is a mismatch of unsuitable housing encompassing overcrowding, sharing of basic amenities, and underutilization of housing facilities (i.e. households occupying excessively larger houses than required.

 

Yeboah affirmed that the housing conditions, including those that lack basic amenities are many, such as toilets, baths, kitchens etc., while there is lack of social housing to cater for vulnerable groups, such as disabled and aging people in the country.

 

Therefore, providing shelter to the Ghanaian population is becoming a necessary ingredient for human safety, security and a peaceful atmosphere in order to allow people go about their daily activities effectively. Thus, the establishment of Vanscope Co. Ltd is geared towards achieving a good return on investments for people who maintain ownership. Channeling investments into the right portfolios, i.e. stocks, bonds and shares to yield the desired profitable and secured ventures should be the utmost concern for Vanscope Co.
